Same here. Armoire, chiffarobe and wardrobe are pieces of furniture, a
closet isn't.
And, for me, frosting is thick and not opaque, icing is thinner and
slighly opaque and a glaze is very thin and opaque or even transparent.
Even though frosting is common here, the phrase is still "the icing on the
cake."
