The 'common' name is 'clit'.  But I don't think 'clitoris' is any more
medical sounding than 'penis'.  It's certainly better than
'pseudophallus' or anything like that.

Some figurative/slang names are the 'pearl', 'button', and the
ever-popular 'little man in the boat'.

Not sure I want to know about the poem,
