There is also a newer (1965) version of the same, also published by
Schocken (New York). The transliteration is different but not standard (if
you take the YIVO system to be the standard). I think that the 1931 book
Barry mentioned is transliterated so as to reflect the pronunciation of
Yiddish in Lithuania (hence "Reyte") and the 1965 version to reflect some
other pronunciation hence the title "R[umlaut]oyte Pomerantsen".
I think the 1965 ed. went through a number of printings and might still be
available from Schocken. If not, it turns up occasionally in used book
stores.
It is entirely in transliterated Yiddish, but the stories/jokes are quite
funny and the glossary makes it pretty accessible to those who can read a
bit of German.
