A plea, once again

Please, please, please don't resend full messages being commented on back
to the list, with the same messages appended through three or four
iterations. Just to get to the juicy comments at the end of the day's
digest today, it was necessary to page through Nunberg's interesting piece
twice, plus several extended comments to comments to comments on it, all
with appropriately quoted but unnecessarily repeated prior messages. It
might not seem like much when responding to individual messages to append
the entire history of the thread, but it stacks up seriously (and must be
using up terrific amounts of unnecessary space in the archive) when
repeated five or six times. Thanks again,
