Interesting Czechification of "börek" (that's an O-umlaut in the first
syllable; stress is on the second syllable), the original Turkish name for
this tasty morsel, in which a concoction of feta cheese and spinach or some
other filling is rolled in phyllo leaves, each having been individually
brushed with butter (as I recall all too well from my days on the börek
assembly line for school benefits featuring this little item).  The "hot
dog pastry" must refer to its shape, and I have no idea whether the item as
well as its name were altered for the Prague version.
