I have an African American friend who would like to trace her heritage back to Africa. Is there some way to do this? Would the slave narratives help, and if so, how does one get access to them? She is also part Mississippi Native American, hence probably Choctaw, right? Any way to trace that heritage? Please reply directly to me. TIA, Bob Wachal
