   Greetings again from Sofia, Bulgaria.  I visit the National History Museum today (there's a Thracian gold piece that was discovered in the 1970s that's a wonder of the world to rival Schliemann).  I go home on two very long and disconnected flights tomorrow.

IF YOU SNOOZE, YOU LOSE--Someone used this phrase on CNBC yesterday.  A recent Google check shows quite a few hits.  I don't know what Fred Shapiro has (he's probably asleep at this hour).  It was kind of funny, since ALL stocks seemed to be losing yesterday--whether you were asleep or awake.
