The word 'hecatonchire', parallel to 'titan' and familiar from my high-school education in classical mythology, appears to be absent from the conventional dictionaries. I couldn't find it even in the OED. Of course a lot of us regular folks can't afford the online OED ... I presume it's there? -- Doug Wilson
