I would agree about WHORE/HO, which for me simply indicate dialect
differences. However--whatever the origins--the others have quite different
significations, i.e.

FAT = overweight
PHAT = attractive

GAY = merry; decadent
GEY = homosexual

QUEEN = female hereditary ruler
QUEAN = prostitute

I'm assuming that GLAMOUR/GRAMMAR is a joke, right?
