Words for grandparents: was: Pittsburgh Dialect

In the 1950s and 60s, in northern Delaware, one family of my relatives
referred to the grandparents of their children as nana (nanna) and
pop-pop, which I often heard as pup-up.  The family members are
Delawareans, for several generations, and Presbyterian on Sundays.
