   I wrote to Bob Stepno, a former University of North Carolina professor who
once lectured on the New York Evening Graphic at a journalism meeting.  He
sent back the following.
   The NYPL's "collection" has a few issues in 1924, then jumps to 1928.
Ohio State, University of Missouri-Columbia, University of California-Irvine,
and the Library of Congress have either the same reels as the NYPL or little
better/worse.
