METAL MOUTH
AOL has a feature article called "The Tin Grin Is In." Braces are cool.
If OED wants, I can probably beat the ADS-L cite for "metal mouth."
I had a nice cite for "tin" (=money), but I can't find it now.

MAD MONARCH
OED doesn't have "Mad Monarch." Will it?
There are some hits on the Making of America (Cornell) database--mostly
from 1886.
The ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 17 August 1885, pg. 1, col. 6:
_THE "MAD MONARCH."
_King Ludwig's Mania for Promiscuous Castle Building._
NEW YORK, August 17--The Berlin correspondent of the WORLD, under date of
August 2, writes as follows...
The King's subjects, though loyally devoted to his Majesty, are at length
BEGINNING TO GROW RESTLESS,
and the deposition of the "mad monarch" is pretty openly spoken of in the
Bavarian capital.
(My laundry should be ready now.--ed.)
