Well, during my advanced English lesson today we found the term "ach y fi" in Dylan Thomas' 'Under Milk Wood'. My teacher, who is Welsh, says it means, literally, "go away". It is also used, in a figurative sense, to mean horrible, frightening, or, as someone said, repulsive. Andrew Perry
