In today's (Friday, Sept. 15th) SF Chronicle, Scott Ostler had this in his column (re George W's less than stellar command of the language): "...Arthur Lewis points out, 'Some Texans, even intelligent ones, mispronounce words, usually adding a letter or a syllable. A friend of mine says 'rhinosterous.' It is a sort of regional Ebonics, consistent within itself.'" ??? Rima
