another dictionary service request

Does anyone out there have a copy of the first edition of the American
Heritage Dictionary (1969) at hand?  I need to know whether it has a usage
note on the pronunciation of 'err', and, if so, what the Usage Panel said
percentage-wise.  Again, can't get this in my library here.
