Oops! dialect in novels

[Salikoko Mufwene]

Oops! mea culpa. The comment about Billy, on the front cover, reads as
follows:
"May be the best first novel by a black author since Toni Morrison's The
Bluest
Eye." I guess I am suffering from precocious senility... Or is it overwork?
