OK, mea minima culpa.  DIKE-tick is an actual syllable division (and
there's the bonus of two syllables that correspond to actual English
words, always a nice trade-off when you're stuck in ascii).  I
thought I'd go with DIE-ksis for the "die" on the same grounds, but
now I realize that I COULD have gone with the even more
well-motivated (if potentially more offensive) DIKE-sis for the
nominal form.  There you go.
