The surprise is not that I remember this book, but that it took me under a
minute to locate it on one of my bookshelves. _Murder Ink: The Mystery
Reader's Companion_, Perpetrated by Dilys Winn. New York: Workman
Publishing, 1977. According to the introduction, they bookstore by the same
name (without the subtitle!) opened in 1972, June, to be exact.
