Absolutely. This is one of my pet peeves - the use of "factoid" by
CNN etc. They are presumably implying that it is a small fact, but
what they are saying is that it's not actually a fact (just as a
humanoid is not a human) . . . or maybe they're being accurate, as a
lot of their "factoids" don't seem particularly factual!
