Columbinitis

Alta Vista doesn't get any hits for this word yet, but the Seattle Times had
it in a story from Reuters and the Associated Press out of Ottawa.

"...'What is at work here is acute "Columbinitis,"' said Canadian novelist
Tim Wynne-Jones, referring to the 1999 massacre of 12 students and a teacher
at Columbine High School in Littleton, Colo..."

The word refers to an overreaction to a student talking about bombing a
school. Probably not a word to stay, though...
