I have received a few (supportive) private messages re the offensive
private messages I received. They all seem well-intentioned, and I thank
you.

I do not, at the moment, see any reason to continue posting about this
particular issue/incident, so unless greatly provoked, or unless I think I
have something new to contribute, I shall not do so. If I do, I shall, as
always, post to the list.
