hand trucks vs dollies

To me, dollies are flat pieces of wood (usually) on 4 wheels and is
pulled by a rope or a piece of metal and/or wood. A hand truck is
vertical, on 2 wheels, and has 2 handles at the top that are integral
with the vertical support. One would put something on a dolly and
pull it - like a kid's toy. One would lean something against the
hand truck and push it.
