NINTH WAVE--The subject of several Russian paintings.  Sailors believed that the ninth wave was unlucky.

GOSSIPERS--Two women facing each other on the top of Russian vases (that I saw in a palace today).  I was told the vases are called "Gossipers"

MEAT AGATE--A type of marble (or stone) with white veins going through it.  It looks like fatty meat.  OED?
