And for a -vegan of a totally different sort:

I highly recommend that anybody who likes both kinds of music (rock AND roll)
check out "roots-rock" singer Webb Wilder. His backing band is called "The
Nashvegans" because they are from Nashville, which is (in its current glitzy
condition) sometimes pejoratively referred to as "Nashvegas."

The pronunciation of "Nashvegan" is consistent with its derivation from
"Vegas." It rhymes with (Ronald) Reagan.
