CLIK/CLEEK & NATIVE SPEAKER [was "FAG one last time"]

Webster's Third shows both "click" and "cleek", and so do my modern
dictionaries.

Webster's Second shows only "cleek", and labels it "colloquial".

Both pronunciations were common in Detroit in the early 1960's in my
recollection.

Parallel to "creek"/"crick"?
