Is my dialect dying out?

I'm from Ulster County, NY -- which, if I've read dialect maps
correctly, is solidly in the Hudson Valley Dialect region. (Note:  to
me, Binghamton NY native Rod Serling, from the next county, had no
accent.  Hamminess, yes.)

However -- I've been told that recent generations in Kingston sound
much more like New York Metro than Hudson Valley speakers.
