"jazz"--minor point "(8.10.18)"

   In my message a few hours ago, I correctly mentioned the date of
"jazband" in Matthias Scherer's book as  October 8, 1918 but
incorrectly said that the date was presented as "(10.8.18)". The
correct presentation is "(8.10.18)".

    The second number represents the month. On the same page as
"jazband" there is "guy" dated "(14.9.18)," i.e., Sept. 14, 1918.
