I forgot to add that this book has a four page (small print) Bibliography, and the citations include many works in English.
The Glossary is divided by type: carpets, jewelry, knives, dress, et al. Not ALL of the words are English, but any dealer in carpets, jewelry, knives, et al., would use many of these terms. The terms are used in novels, memoirs, cookbooks, guidebooks and other books that are written in English.
English readers would want to know what they are.
