One might try 'Kirgiz'.

I have nothing but contempt for the ex-Soviet apparatchiks who changed all
the place names in this part of the world. It's as if they find it offensive
that anyone could correctly spell these names.

Were I datelining something on Kabila-the-Second-Land, I write:
Congo (formerly Zaire now Congo again) (Kinshasha formerly Leopoldville,
still Kinshasha).
