Schwa in WP 5.1?

Have any of y'all had any experience with either creating or importing a
schwa and "open O" (backward "c") into WordPerfect 5.1? I can get most of
the other phonetic symbols I need either using the compose feature or
selecting from one of the non-English tables. I tried without success
rotating a "e" for the schwa, but did not try reversing the "c". I know
SIL has a phonetic font available for downloading, but don't know whether
there is any way to import the characters into WP 5.1.
