Pseudo-acronyms

One which I saw recently: "TIPS" = "to insure prompt service".

Of course "GOMER" and "CHAD" were mentioned on this list.

What about "fuddy-duddy" = "Ph.D., D.D." ... it's etymologically bogus (I
think) but is it really an acronym (pseudo- or otherwise)? [I have really
heard the analogous "fud-mud" = "Ph.D., M.D." used more than once.]
