Yes, I've heard it rarely in MI (and IL, I think). I don't recall ever
hearing 'depants' although it seems natural and transparent.

[Compare: "He wormed his dog." = "He dewormed his dog."; "She loused his
hair." = "She deloused his hair."; "This meat has been boned." = "This meat
has been deboned."; etc.]
