Spanish linguist

Colleagues,

I am looking for a Spanish linguist with good proficiency in the
language to teach one undergraduate and one graduate "topics in
linguistics" (your choice, e.g., dialectology, discourse, syntax)
course and an advanced course in pronunciation (three courses in all)
for the Spring Semester 2002 only. ABD or recent PhD. Please write to
me directly (preston at msu,.edu) offering either yourself or suggesting
a name. I do not know some important details (e.g., salary) so don't
even ask me, but I will put you in touch with the person who does
immediately. The job is not completely without promise for the
future, but that cannot be officially stated.
