Pg. 79 (Frankfort):  Many Jews live here who have their _Gheto_ or particular Quarter, wherein they are locked up every night.

(OED cites "J. Ray OBSERVATIONS LOW-COUNTRIES" 28 times, but, as you probably know by now, missed much more.  OED has "ghetto" from 1611 and Venice, but the next citation is 1756.  I'll have more from this book later.  "Low Dutch" is here--ed.)
