Minhag (1843)

I have a copy of the second edition of "Minhag America", which is the prayer
book published by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations in 1872.  There
is a first edition dating from around 1857 which I have not seen.  So I
cannot antedate Barry Popik on this word but I can interdate.

P.S. On second thought, "interdate" as in "leads to intermarriage"??

And then there is Joanne Despres's "Dating Staff" at Merriam-Webster who, one
presumes, lead an active social life.
