Not everyone, well, not when singing anyway...

The Flaming Lips have a song "She Don't Use Jelly", which contains the
'vasoline' as a rhyme with "cheese" and "magazine".  I can't remember how
they pronounce it.

However!  Ben Folds Five covered it.  I've both a live version and an album
version.  The album version (very lounge-pop) uses /s/, the live version (I
miss napster!) has a definite /z/.
