I had an M.A. student from Brazil this quarter who panicked when I said she
should type the title etc. on the defense approval form--she had no idea
how to use a typewriter!  So I typed it for her.

(P.S.  I love Jeanne's chocolate laws and have passed them on to all my
friends!)
