I searched the archives and didn't see this mentioned before. Don't ask how
my search went from:

the correct past tense for dive
to Longfellow's "The Song of Hiawatha"
to Johnny Preston's "Running Bear"
to an audio database of folk songs sung by people from Missouri, Arkansas
and Oklahoma,

but ya'll know how the Web sometimes works. Anyway, for anybody who was
