Going Postal (Feb. 1993 WIRED?)

   Do I read the OED entry correctly?  "Going Postal" is from a February 1993 edition of WIRED?
   The NYPL record seems to indicate that WIRED began in May 1993.  I'm re-checking it right now.  Perhaps a WIRED person is online here.
   Also, the infamous shootings by Jarvis were in April 1993.
   The online LOS ANGLES TIMES, in a year-end roundup on 31 December 1993, pg. 1, refers to "going postal."
