"Gunsel" thread: loose end

Sorry to run this marginal theme into the ground, but if anybody's
interested, there's another image of "Das Deutsche Maedel" on p. 23 of the
Chronicle Review section of the Jan. 18 Chronicle of Higher ed.  Wouldn't
you know: after my description of radiant smile and braids, the "Maedel" in
this poster is a shot-putter in the 1936 Berlin Olympics.
