        From the Microsoft Systems Journal, January 1, 1994, Kevin Goodman,
"Clearer, more comprehensive error processing with Win32 structured
exception handling":

        >>If you are wondering exactly what happens when an unhandled kernel

mode exception happens, so am I. I've never seen one. I have heard
that if there ever is an unhandled kernel mode exception in Windows NT,
it is considered a fatal bug and the following will happen: Windows NT
will terminate itself, switch to an all blue character-mode screen,
then attempt to connect with the kernel debugger. This is
affectionately known as the Blue Screen of Death.<<
