The March 2002 issue of the ABA Journal has an article, "Word of Mouth:
Three Lawyers Track Etymology of Words, From Food Terms to Slang."  The
article describes the role of three American lawyers in contributing to
the OED (Barry Popik, Stuart Silverstein and myself).  Thanks to Jesse
