Burka (1808)

  Same book (1808) as "borsch."  This is in several places in the book.  I just checked and got confused with OED's other "burka."
  OED has 1898.

Pg. 35:
   He was then clothed in the coarse woollen dress of the Cossacks, and was presented with the square felt cloak (burka) which the Cossacks always hang on their shoulder, on the side from whence the wind blows.
