Unfortunate but irrelevant example.  There is a vast difference between
stereotyping by individuals and government sanctioned, police empowered,
racial profiling.   One results in an unsatisfactory social encounter.  The
other can result in a hand covered by a greased glove probing your nether
regions while you stand naked in front of a one-way mirror, or worse.
