The first time I heard it was by Chevy Chase's character Clark Kellogg?
in NATIONAL LAMPOON'S CHRISTMAS VACATION. That was in 1989 or 1990, I
think. In the film, Clark suffers a slip of the tongue while talking to an
attractive, sweater-clad saleswoman in a department store.
