Armenian brandy (1887)

   Ararat, the Armenian brandy company, was sold to the French.  It began in 1887 as Ararat Wine and Brandy Company.  Armenian brandy was a favorite of Winston Churchill.  Perhaps OED could enter "Armenian brandy," as a dinstinct kind of brandy.
