I was at the grocery store yesterday and walked by two employees (both men)
chatting while stocking shelves. "She's a good kid," one of the speakers
said, then amended after a pause: "Well, I guess she's a *woman*." I suppose
"she's a good woman" wouldn't have been a possible expression of approval!
