Portuguese-American "Soupa" (May 1942)

   The American Memory database (www.loc.gov) has four nice photos of the
Portuguese-American dish "soupa," or "supa," for the feast of the Holy Ghost.
 It's not in John Mariani's ENCYCLOPEDIA OF AMERICAN FOOD & DRINK.
   When's the next volume of DARE coming out?  Is "soupa"/"supa" there?

Mint is used for the soupa to be served at dinner at the fiesta of the Holy
Ghost. Santa Clara, California. Soupa is a Portuguese-American dish and
