SHOUTING; emphasis?

it's possible that, in these degenerate days, a few people may not recognize the references to archy and mehitabel. archy was a vers libre poet, reincarnated as a cockroach living in the office of newspaper columnist don marquis. archy couldn't operate the shift key, so all of his poems were in lower case. mehitabel was a cat, the reincarnation of cleopatra and archy's best friend. we have a cat named mehitabel, but she hasn't shown any fondness for cockroaches as yet, which I suppose is just as well. archy's poetry was collected in _archy and mehitabel_ and later books.
