Well, as for ME, I think... MY personal (as opposed to public) opinion/conviction is that... I MYSELF believe that... As for as I'm concerned... ME, I don't think that... All of these sound like intensifiers to me. (Why am I reminded of the journalese "THIS REPORTER observed that..."?) Peter R.
